Role in the project
Telekom Slovenije participates in the ECHO project as an industrial and operational partner, contributing its expertise as a national telecommunications operator and provider of critical infrastructure. Its role focuses on strengthening resilience through reliable communications, data integration and validation of solutions in real operational environments. Telekom Slovenije provides key input related to network availability, redundancy and infrastructure dependencies, ensuring that ECHO solutions realistically address the operational constraints of communication networks during disruptions. The company supports the development and validation of situational awareness and decision-support tools, drawing on experience from network operations and incident management, particularly in the areas of real-time monitoring, alarm correlation, incident prioritization and escalation processes. Telekom Slovenije also plays an important role in the Slovenian pilot, where ECHO solutions are tested in collaboration with municipalities, energy providers and emergency services, contributing operational scenarios, infrastructure-related data and use cases to assess cross-sector coordination and cascading effects during multi-hazard events.
